Shepard's Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 pound hamburger
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 beef bouilon cube
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • bay leaf
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tablespoons cornstarch in
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 to 4 medium potatoes
  • milk
  • butter

Directions

Fry hamburger and onion until brown.

Add water, bouilon cube, salt, pepper, bay leaf and Worcestershire sauce

Cook 30 to 40 mintues and then thicken with cornstarch in water

Boil potatoes and mash with milk and butter

Place meat mixture into casserol dish and spread potatoes on top.

Broil until brown.
